Illustrator Tools Unit
Graded Class Task: 10 Marks
Start Teaching Your Tools Friday, September 24th
Class Teaching Task: Each student has received a set of illustrator tools, using the help menus, YouTube tutorials or Tutoralized students will instruct the class on the steps on how to use the tool. The instruction /teaching can be performed a number of different ways
- Teaching in front of the class
- Record your tool actions using Jing or Cam Studio and save it as a movie and upload it to Youtube.
As part of this class task students will be requested to write a lesson plan for their lesson to assist them with their steps and process for the lesson. This lesson plan must be submitted at the time of your teaching.
A sample plan has been provided and will be discussed in class, please use this format for your lesson plan.

Student Note: Dear grade 8 students remember to work on your lesson plan for your teaching task, so you are prepared for teaching your illustrator tools to the class. Upload your lesson plan to your blogs, and print out a copy for the class to be submitted after your lesson is complete.
Parent Note: Dear Parents ask your child what it is they are teaching for the computer class, get them to explain what Illustrator is, and how do you use the tool they have been assigned, ask to see their prepared lesson plan.
