Objective: Create an Online and Hardcopy Photographic Portfolio that displays 2 new images not taken in class from each of the topics covered
- Portrait
- Face – eyes / Lips
- Landscape
- Abstract Building Architecture
- Object
Images are to be worked on in Photoshop using the variety of processors taught in class to fit the style and concept of the image.
Images are to be processed with the correct resolutions and compression for online and hardcopy delivery.
For the hardcopy portfolio each image is to be printed out professionally outside of school in the size of a normal photograph with a white border.
Hardcopy Portfolio Requirements
- 10 Photographs on separate pages
- Portfolio Size is A4 landscape
- Each image is to have a title and a brief description on a separate page of the concept that you are trying to convey to your audience.
- See examples – you can either purchase a Portfolio book or make one from black cardboard but it must appear the same as the example provided.
Web Portfolio
- Students must sign up for a free web portfolio at http://carbonmade.com and load their correct web format images into the portfolio, with a title and description.
- The URL must be emailed to meastlake@ise.ac.th.
Portfolio Presentation
Students must present their portfolio to the class
- Outline the concept for each image in your discussion
- Be prepared for the presentation
- Display your work via the portfolio web-site to the class
- Have notes prepared no PowerPoint’s please, students must present their ideas clearly no reading from their prompt cards.
